MTR Seviyan Vermicelli is a pantry staple bought by Indian households for breakfast upmas, payasam, and quick meals. Its ingredient list is about as clean as a processed grain product gets: just wheat semolina, shaped and dried. Sodium is negligible (2 mg/100 g), added sugar is zero, and fat is virtually absent. The one meaningful caveat is gluten — this product is entirely unsuitable for anyone with celiac disease or wheat sensitivity — and its high glycaemic index warrants portion awareness for people managing blood glucose. The most useful takeaway: this is one of the more wholesome packaged staples you can buy, but it is not a low-carb or diabetic-free-pass food.
