This product is popular with coffee drinkers seeking a flavoured, shelf-stable creamer, but it carries several significant red flags. The base is sugar and corn syrup solids—two forms of rapidly absorbed carbohydrate—held together with hydrogenated coconut, palm kernel, and soybean oils, the last of which the FDA has revoked GRAS status for and which is effectively banned in Denmark, the US, and Canada due to its trans-fat content. Multiple emulsifiers, phosphate salts, and both natural and artificial flavourings push this firmly into NOVA 4 ultra-processed territory. Compounding the concern, the 'non-dairy' label is misleading because sodium caseinate—a milk-derived protein—is a declared ingredient; consumers with cow's milk protein allergy must not assume safety on the basis of the non-dairy claim. The single most useful thing to know: every serving delivers hydrogenated soybean oil, a globally restricted ingredient with no established safe intake level for trans fats.
