Bought by parents of infants beginning solids, this puree is about as clean as commercial baby food gets — real fruit, negligible sodium, zero added sugar, and no artificial additives. The single flag worth noting is that two front-of-pack claims ('only the fruit & nothing but the fruit' and 'contains only fruit and nothing else') are technically false because ascorbic acid is added as a separate ingredient; however, ascorbic acid at food-use levels is entirely safe and commonly used in infant food as an antioxidant and nutritional booster. The 18g of sugar per 100g sounds high but is entirely natural, coming from the fruit itself. The most useful thing a curious parent should know: this is a genuinely minimal, well-formulated product — the misleading claims are a labelling issue, not a safety one.
