Parents of weaning infants are the core buyers here, drawn by the brand's 'nothing but the fruit' messaging. The product is genuinely clean: one named cultivar mango plus a micro-dose of ascorbic acid added as an antioxidant to protect colour and freshness. That second ingredient, however, directly contradicts two marketed claims — 'only the fruit & nothing but the fruit' and 'contains only Alphonso Mango and nothing else' — making them false. Everything else stacks up well: no added sugar, no artificial additives, no preservatives, very low sodium, and a short, recognisable ingredient list. The single most useful takeaway for a curious parent is that this is about as close to fresh mango as a shelf-stable pouch gets, but it is not literally one ingredient.
